At the beginning of summer I was contact by Elmer’s about hosting a Kids Craft Camp play date. Their offer was so sweet I couldn’t turn it down! They send me 5 kids craft kits, 1 adult craft kit, and a Walmart gift card, and in return all I have to do it throw a fun play date and document it for you?!? SOLD! And even better yet, I also get to give AWAY a craft package to one of you (more details on that below the giveaway is now closed). The theme and projects we created were all up to me and after a week or 2 of thinking about it, I decided on a craft that led me to hosting a Camping themed play date. I will let you enjoy the photos from the party and then I will give you more details on how we used the great craft kits and Elmer’s products, as well as give you more details about the giveaway!!

Stacy really cute and it wasn’t even anyones birthday! My kids always, always request a scavenger hunt and I reluctantly agree (okay it’s fun bit oh so much planning work). Glad to see I’m not the only mom who gets to make hunts.
HOW fun oh my gosh! Next time you have a party will you please invite me?? I love the bug juice and the smores!
What an adorable playdate! I am not a camping fan but camping like this would be so fun!!! Favorite camping memory? Camping at Disney and taking the bus to Downtown Disney to see a movie LOL. We were really roughing it.
Wow so darn cute!! My kids have been wanting to have a camping nite, this would be perfect!! For a camping nite in our backyard!!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this play date! The animals in the yard are my favorite detail.
This looks like so much fun, I want to come over for a play date 🙂
Very cute!
That was about the cutest party idea I’ve seen in a long time. Nothing like the Girl Scout camp I went to as a kid, but perfect for a bunch of young kids. I was just telling my kids my favorite camp memory yesterday while we were admiring trees chewed by beavers. As a yound 20 something, my boyfriend and I went canoe/camping in upper Michigan and would yell “Beaver!” and slap our oars on the water. Thanks for the great idea!
What an awesome event! Looks fantastic!
Too hard for me to pick any 1 camping memory. I worked at summer camps for 8+ years! 🙂

we’ve done backyard camping(aka putting a tent on the deck & having a tea party in it) my 3 1/2 year old daughter loves doing this!

What a great playdate! We go camping several times every summer. I don’t know that I could pick just one camping memory. We do have an annual trip every summer over Memorial Day weekend that we go on every year that is our family vacation. We look forward to that from about March onward. 🙂
This is the BEST camp theme I’ve ever seen! I grew up in a super outdoorsy family so there was plenty of family camping trips as well as my own yearly overnight summer camp as a kid, but my favorite memories have to be from a group camping trip I took to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge with some friends in junior high. Our tents flooded everyday with the afternoon rain! It wasn’t fun then, but looking back I get quite the kick out of it. Ha!

Darling playdate!! Girls Camp are my favorite camping memories. I don’t think I’ve actually camp camped since then.
Love this theme! My favorite camping memory is from when I was little and my sister and I would go camping w/ our Dad… Two little girls out in the middle of the woods getting firewood w/ our Step-mom when the LOUDEST growl you can imagine echoed through the trees. It was a Bear! We couldn’t see where it was, all we knew is that we had to make it to the top of the hill to the road for safety. Of course the time I really needed my climbing abilities to come in handy, my legs failed me. I was so scared, I practically couldn’t move. It was right then we heard Dad laughing so hard at us because HE was the Grizzly Bear growling from behind a tree! We were so mad, we wouldn’t even speak to him… Now every time I think of camping, that is the one memory that always comes rushing back to leave a smile on my face. 😀

I love the color scheme and the details are ADORABLE. Thanks for the giveaway…I will be sharing it on my FB page 🙂

I love the theme, it is so cute! I would love to win this giveaway! Thanks!
These camping pics/crafts are sooooooo cute!!!! LOVE IT ALL!!!! I loved camping and making s’mores as a kids…and still do as an adult!!!!
Where did you get your beverage dispenser? I love that it sits higher, I have been looking for one like that.
Camping Parties are a fav! I worked at summer camps for 13 years so it’s near and dear! Favorite memory was my first camping trip with my husband…last fall! We headed to the beach to camp in September in Michigan. It rained buckets and the wind was so strong that we couldn’t light the fire. We snuggled and stayed in the tent most of the time. We lasted two days before renting a hotel room to dry out all of our equipment. The mere mention of camping on the beach makes us laugh!
My favorite memory is camping out in my dad’s Army tent in our back yard with my brother in the suburbs of Cleveland. That tent was made of canvas and held the heat like crazy but we LOVED it!!!
This looks like A LOT of fun! Makes me giddy. 🙂
Aww, so very cute! My nephews and nieces are planning to do a camp-out at my inlaws backyard this month. So perfect!
I love your adorable camping party!! Growing up we didn’t ever camp, at least not that I remember. As an adult, I worked at a summer camp for children with arthritis and made some wonderful memories!
I remember camping with my big brother’s Boy Scout group. My parents were the den leaders. It rained so much during the trip, but we all had a great time. My parents made little duck trophies for all the scouts to remember the wet and rainy weekend!
Camping in my backyard with girl scouts!
My favorite camping memory was staying at my grandparent’s camper in a little resort about 20 minutes from our house. I remember they had this little yellow alarm clock that made a louder than normal ticking sound. I now cherish that memory of falling asleep to the sound of a ticking clock and the smell of a campfire.
No matter what kind of camping or where, my favorite part is sitting around the fire roasting marshmallows and telling stories. Great, great memories — as a kid and as an adult — of that!
How totally fun! As for those sugar wafers that no one ate, *I* would have eaten them in no time! lol! 🙂 I loved camping as a kid, & although camping as an adult turned out to be a lot more work, I’ve enjoyed snorkeling in the river with my hubby at our annual church campout. 🙂
I loved camping with my dad. He loved to camp and he camped with me and my sisters all the time. Playing cards late at night, or getting up early to make breakfast with hot cocoa was fun!!
My favorite camping memory is when my husband and I went camping together for the first time.
I’m not much of a camper but I do enjoy making s’mores by the fire!
Everything is ADORABLE! My favorite camping memory was camping in Myrtle Beach every year! We would cook out, go fishing on the pier, make new friends, toast marshmallows and sneak out of our tent and into grandma’s camper 😉
My favorite type of camping is GLAMPING. Glamour camping! Thanks to Southern Living mag for turning me on to this ridiculous-ness! 🙂
sweetgeorgiasweet@yahoo.com
Not really a camping kind of person! But, I would be all over a “craft”camping adventure! Such creative and cute ideas!
How fun!! I love camping, grew up camping and still camp several times a year with my hubby and kiddos! The best part of camping is all the yummy food. Everything taste great while camping. : ]
My favorite camping memory is all the kids collecting acorns. Looking back I don’t know why that was so darn fun but it just was. A big group of us scouring the grounds trying to grab as many acorns as possible to add to our pile. Now that I’m a mom I realize it was probably our parent’s way of getting us kids out of their hair for a while. It worked! =)
I grew up camping. Such fun family memories. My favorite times were when we had our family reunions and spent the week with all of my cousins (first, second, third and fourth) half way across the country.
I have to admit I am not big on camping..but your party was ADORABLE! Love every detail!
So cute…I couldn’t imagine inviting one of your kids to a play date at my house after this :0) We used to GS camp twice a year. Late night hikes, pranks, s’mores and crafts..what is not to love.
What a great opportunity… My favorite camping experience was/is getting my little girls (she’s 4) T-P out and our flash lights, popcorn and of course marshmallows. We just sit back and relax in our pjs and enjoy our “gabi talk”.. I love having these mommy/daughter talks!!
Roasted marshmallows on a campfire- in my mind really the only redeeming part of camping. (actually kind of want one now….)
My favorite camping experience is in the living room! We are not really campers but we do love camping in the living room under the Christmas tree! We also love love love “marshmallow cookouts” in our backyard fire pit! 😉
Your party looks so fun! Thanks for the opportunity to win!
Awesome ideas!!! My favorite experience would be camping with my grandparents and cousin. My cousin and I decided we needed to “fish” for a turtle. our grandpa said there was no way we would ever get one with a string, and bread bit we did! We were only 5 & 6 and so around of ourselves!
My favorite camping trip would be in cooler weather-today it was 108. TOO HOT!!!We are looking forward to it getting cooler so we can go up to the mountains and enjoy God’s creation. Would love to win this giveaway so we can go “camping” in the back yard:)
Thanks:)

We are camping right now in Matagorda,TX. My 5 year old and husband had the following conversation about wade fishing tonight. “Dad, you know that sharks eat at night? I learned that on Shark Week. Do you think they would eat me or you first? Never mind, you’re meattier!”.
Great job! Love all the details! Favorite is s’mores bar. My favorite camping memory was with my dad in YMCA Indian princess. It was a father/daughter group sort of like boy scouts. I cherish those memories with my dad. Even the ones with him fixing my hair because mom wasn’t around. Ha ha. Camping always creates memories – even when u are at home.

What a great party idea!! I love sitting by the fire at night, roasting marshmallows with “adult” bug juice in hand & good friends all around!
Your play date looked like so much fun!!! My family camped near the river every summer. My favorite activity was sculpting the river mud and hoping it would dry and we could take our creations home. Oddly I font remember ever bringing anything home! I’m sure my brother smashed all my mud tea party sets…they never had a chance!
My favorite camping memories are from this year where me and my 3yo daughter decided to learn to camp. We practiced twice in our backyard, participated in The Great American Backyard Campout, and even went camping at a place called NW Trek in Washington State(which let us camp in the zoo and wander amongst the moose/elk/deer/bison/bears after hours). The bug has bit my tot (Dad things “roughing it is staying at a Motel 6) and we love our little adventures. Our next trips that we have planned this month are camping down on the beach in the Monterey/Santa Cruz area and the big “real deal” at Yosemite.
Thak should say Dad “thinks”…darn autocorrect.
Favorite camping memory is the smell of the campfire and s’mores!
*Camping* on our 3rd floor with our 4 & 5 yr olds ~ complete with a tent, sleeping bags, flashlights, snacks and scary stories.

I have been inspired! My favorite camping memories are eating smores and sitting by a campfire. Everytime we light our firepit in the back yard, all ingredients for smores must be on hand! Loved your idea of the popcorn smores. I think that will be a recipe I’ll try. Did you use Kettle corn?
I love camping in my classroom with my 1st/2nd grade students!! We put up a tent and even make s’mores over a “lightbulb” campfire!!
I always love roasting marshmallows! I will share on fb, too!
I love that every year my in laws take up all of us every year camping. and we always play BINGO! 🙂

My favorite camping memory was peeking out the tent doors at night in Yosemite to spy on bears!

My most memorable camping moment was at the beach. We frantically chose a spot for the tent. Dad was anxious to get in the water and start fishing. I was just anxious to get in the water. The day was full of adventure and after a long day we finally snuggled into our sleeping bags. Camping at the beach was great because you could always hear the roar of the waves. This night the waves seemed closer than usual I thought as I dozed off.
I awoke in the middle of the night with waves crashing inside the tent. The full moon had caused an extremely high tide and the tent was engulfed with water. I awoke to screaming and commotion and fell right off my sleeping bag down into the cold water. I rose to my knees just in time to catch a wave right in the face. I laughed aloud at the same time I screamed.
It was the absolute funniest thing you have ever seen. This camping trip to the beach was hilarious. Mom and Dad running around screaming as the sleeping bags and camping gear were floating away on the waves. I ran and jumped with glee. I laughed until I cried. It was the funniest thing I will ever remember in my life.
Too cute!! I worked at a 4-H camp for seven years!!! Yes, we did stay in cabins, but we would also have a “Sleep under the Stars” event for the kids every week. We would fix “hobo” dinners (veggies and hot dogs in foil packets cooked on an open fire), s’mores and for breakfast we toasted bread and cooked bacon and eggs over the open fire. We always had scavenger hunt games for the evening activity and spent a great deal of time sitting around the fire singing songs and telling ghost stories. The kids always said the “sleep under the stars” was the best night of camp!
I remember when I went to camp as a child and didn’t take a shower the whole week I was there! Needless to say, I reeked when my parents came to pick me up! LOL

Each yr growing up our family went camping for a week to the coast. My sisters and I would wake up super early, head to the beach with our sand buckets, and search hours for sea shells. I will never forget that innocent fun!
My favorite camping trip is about every time I’ve ever gone camping at Ocean Lakes with my family at Myrtle Beach! My mom’s family is large, and when we were little, we would all go. We laugh about how we’d ride our bikes in a row and create this looooooong train of bikes with bags, towels, and lounge chairs. 🙂
OMG!!! That is seriously the cutest play date I’ve seen. My favorite camping memory is the s’mores!!!
My favorite camping memory was going to our family farm, eating hotdogs cooked on the open fire, and eating s’mores (what is camping without s’mores). It just makes things feel simple to listen to the wind blow through the trees and our cows mooing in the morning. Good times.
I loved camping out with my husband when we were dating. Camp fires, s’mores, and lots of laughs….good memories. I hope to take my children one day soon
We love camping in the backyard. We have a jumpy and the kids love jumping in the dark. We keep a tent full of juice, gum, popcorn and m&ms to give us jumping energy! Thanks for this opportunity!
What a precious idea and with a new grandson this will make a great party idea when he gets older I will DEFINETLY be saving this
I LOVE this kids camp kit! If we (my kids and I)won it would give camping a whole new meaning. We are too prissy for outdoor camping especially with the 113 degree heat! They would love to turn their livingroom into an outdoor oasis for all of their campouts! We are so excited to hear who wins! Good luck everyone!
I was wondering how the kids were going to bring in deer, squirrels and bumble bees…then I saw those pictures! what a fantastic idea…you are truly amazing!
Awesome! This looks like WAY too much fun!
