This whole going back to work thing kinda stinks! Even though I work from home I try really hard not to do any crafting during work hours (mostly out of guilt!). However, I do find my self thinking about and planning out crafts while I am working (and using my lunch hour to belt out something {kinda} crafty). It’s just too hard not to when I would rather be creating fun and pretty things out of paper, fabric, wood and whatever else I can get my hands on instead of creating spreadsheets and presentations and reports. Oh well, for now I just have to live a double life like Bruce Wayne and Batman. 😉
All this being said, I have also been neglecting the blog and updating on my new favorite craft room love, the Silhouette Machine!! If you haven’t seen or heard about this machine, click on over to their website, you will be amazed. I have used it to help decorate frames, make cards, tags, stickers, vinyl decals and some personalized T-shirts! The possibilities are endless. I highly recommend this machine if you’ve ever considered buying an electronic cutting machine (like the cricut). The best part is that you never have to buy cartridges, which are SOOO expensive, you just download designs online for $0.99 each or they have a monthly subscription plans. And the best part is that you can upload your own designs or photos into the program and it will auto-trace and cut them out for you! Magical!
