I don’t think I will ever {LOVE} Mod Podge, however, I did recover my step stool using tips that I found here. I still have several small air bubbles that appeared once I left the stool outside while I was waiting for the sealer to dry. It might have been due to the humidity outside because before I sprayed on the final layer of sealer I didn’t see any air bubbles. I strongly recommend sealing the paper you are going to be Mod Podging as they suggested in tips, it really does make a world of difference. That, and well patience patience patience… let at least 20-30 minutes go by between gluing down that paper and applying the Mod Podge as the sealer. I really wanted to win the battle over Mod Podge so I tried it again (and again) but I still hold true to my love for the spray adhesive, although maybe there is some room in the adhesive box for a little Mod Podge.
