It has been one heck of a week. It always seems that “short” weeks at work are so much more tedious than a regular 5 day week, although I won’t complain about having Labor Day off!!
Well since it’s Friday night I thought I’d post a couple crafts I am wrapping up tonight, some projects I never got around to posting, and include a sneak peek at some supplies I got in this week.
So first off, I {kinda} fixed the frame from last Friday. It’s still not 100% but it’s a little better. Next time I might have to get out a ruler instead of just trying to eyeball it since my eyeballs seem to have shifted to the right quite a bit.
I also made these beauties this week in preparation for Halloween!! I think it’s a tad early to get ALL the Halloween decorations out, but I few won’t hurt!

re-purposed an old Gator frame I had made & never used |
Also, I am still learning how to use the sewing machine but I have whipped a couple of these up for some baby gifts as well as for baby P, since she is a happy spitter (she’s happy about it, but mama ain’t!) Tutorial found here!

I have to look back through my photos just to remember what all I’ve done in the last couple weeks! Here are a couple {quick} projects I’ve been working on.
fabric rosettes are quite the rage, here’s my first try |

Princess birthday invites (minus the ‘stache it’s just hiding the details) |
Still trying to think of my next tutorial, is there anything you’d like to see? I was thinking about giving tips on how to do the Martha Stewart tissue pom poms b/c frankly her directions leave a lot of questions (as do most of her directions). Seriously, people on Etsy are selling these tissue poms for around $5!! All it takes is $0.99 worth of tissue, a piece of wire and fishing line or ribbon!!!
Oh, and here is the preview. I got these pretties in this week so that I can start making some paci leashes or binkie keepers, whatever you what to call them. Aren’t they {pretty} ribbons? I might just have to make some hair bows as well!!
Enjoy your Friday night, all 3 of my loves are already asleep on the {sofa}!!
