I can finally exhale, the big 3rd Birthday Party for R has come and gone!! The best part of the whole party was that she had the time of her life and asked if she could come back when she turns 4, can’t ask for much more than that! I am pretty sure I will never do a traveling dessert table ever again, however. Everything turned out adorable but since I couldn’t control the location or the light, the pictures didn’t turn out all that wonderful (just yet another reason I really need a speedlite!) But on the positive side the kids REALLY enjoyed filling up their own “doggie bags” at the end of the party (and the parents had never seen anything like a dessert/candy buffet, so they all ooo’ed and ahhh’ed which made me feel good about everything!)
I actually designed the invitation about 5 months ago, and tweaked it slightly as the party date approached. My daughter really loves puppies/dogs, well at least the idea of them (in person she’s a little skiddish), so I knew when I saw this cute puppy clip art that it would be perfect for her 3rd birthday. From there I just added some polka dots and a little plaid in her favorite colors of pink & blue. Here are the party circles I designed for everything.
So from there I found some ribbon that I liked, and with ribbon, anything is possible!! So here are the photos, I hope you enjoy them.

Looks so wonderful!!! Great ideas! If you don’t mind me asking, what program do you use to design all of your invitations and tags? Adobe?

BTW, I found your blog from Sugar Bee.

How beautiful!! Do you have a link to how you made the topiary? My daughter turns 3 in June so I can’t wait to do something similar to this.
