So we are about to embark on an extended weekend car trip down to Florida which includes an overnight stop at a hotel with an AMAZING pool in Orlando! It’s only a couple hours from there to our final destination but since we are going to be spending the day poolside, what are we going to do with our wet suits from Orlando to my in-laws? Enter the “wet bag” even though these are only for damp items. If you wanted to go all the way wet bag, I would suggest using a vinyl shower curtain as your liner, instead of just treated nylon like I have.
I took this awesome eco-friendly reusable snack bag tutorial on Prudent Baby and super-sized it! I had bought this awesome Michael Miller fabric a while back to make something for my hubs and as Gru would say “LIGHT.BULB!” My husband has a big 2 day bike ride/race coming up in May and it would be great for him to have something to keep his “used” bike clothes in until he gets home (for me to wash). So I put 2 & 2 together and made these super-sized snack bags for him to use also! Anyway I am just babbling at this point, you probably stopped reading a long time ago and skipped over to the pictures. I can’t say as I blame you 😉 Oh, and I sewed my very first gusset, what what!!!
