I swear that it was just last Friday like a day ago. This week has been crazy! We had really bad storms rip through our area early Wednesday morning (1am) and we lost power for a day. And losing a day is not as fun as it was before you had work and kids and household chores to worry about. I feel like I am SOO behind! And then blogger was out, to boot, so that is why I had a lack of posts this week.
Anyway, I have the kiddos all by myself this weekend while Mr. Kinda Crafty travels to central Florida to participate in the MS 150 bike ride with his dad! Not only do we have dress rehearsal for our first ever dance recital, we also have a birthday party to attend. I bought the birthday girl a cute Pinkalicous cupcake set (which is only $12 at Wally World, so I don’t know why you would buy it at Amazon) but I wanted to add a little something personal to the gift as well (b/c I have so much extra time on my hands?!?) I know, I am a little crazy! Anywayzzz – it was totally simple and fun to make. I used my silhouette to cut out the O and her name as well as the bird for the bottom circle. I am about the world’s worst free-hand painter so this was a little but of a challenge for me, but I love the way it turned out. In case you can’t tell it’s meant to be a bow holder that you hang on the wall and clip your bows to.
