I am just loving all the Back to School goodies and printables circling the blog-o-sphere this time of year. I didn’t want to be left out even if my two little lovebugs aren’t exactly school aged yet! However, they do go to daycare/preschool full time (since I work full time, albeit from home, but I still do have real work to do ALL. DAY. LONG.) so I think a new school year should apply to us, too. My older daughter has actually moved classes, even though her teachers came with her this year, and is now a “Prepper” or in the preparation class before true Pre-K!!
To celebrate the start of school today here in Charlotte I made a pit stop in Bath & Body Works on my way to pick up yesterday and picked up a couple of the portable scent thingies (I think they call them Scentportables). They aren’t too expensive if you buy several, plus I had a couple coupons! Then when I got home I used my Silhouette to cut out some large scalloped circles (I don’t have the extra-large punches, but those would work just as well). I also printed out a little phrase I came up with on white cardstock and used a 2.5″ circle punch I have (but that I hate) to cut out. Used a little Distressing Ink on the edges of the card stock and glued the 2 pieces together and using a little ribbon I had laying around I tied it all together.
Simple. Cute. Yummy {smelling}.

Cute! When I see back to school ideas like these, it makes me want to have school aged kids. But then I look and my baby girl…I better enjoy what I have now.
Cute blog too.
