Long Live {Summer}!

I mentioned in my last blog post that I was going on vacation and closing my shop for a little bit. Well, now I am back from vacation, a little bit rested (let’s be honest a family vacation isn’t really restful for mom), and ready to get back into crafting!!

Before we get back to crafting though I wanted to share with you a photo contest that Shutterfly is hosting right now that is right up my photo-taking loving alley! It’s called the Long Live Summer – Facebook Photo Contest and it’s going on right now! Here are the details on how you can get involved!
Event dates are July 9th – August 12th so it is a multi-week contest with lots of instant win prizes such as winning a trip for four to The Bahamas and a professional photo shoot so you’ll remember your vacation forever.  All you need to do is upload your favorite photo and caption based on the theme of the week.  Get a gift from Shutterfly just for entering! I need to work on my non-flash night time photography 

While we were in Charleston we took a Harbor Boat Tour

We tried to go into Downtown Charleston for lunch one day and as soon as we pulled into the parking garage the craziest storm came through town flooding the streets – so we sat in our car for an hour and then drove back home!

The Duck Races at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co kept the kids entertained for a long time!

No trip to Isle of Palms is complete without a day at the beach!
