Supplies:
- Any size frame you want/have on hand. This frame from IKEA was just sitting in my dining room.
- A piece of your favorite cardstock cut to fit in your frame. I am a little obsessed with this chunky aqua glitter!
- A vinyl decal with transfer tape OR a print out of a monogram you’ve designed and a paint pen.
Take the backing off your frame
If you’ve got a mat in your frame, tape your cardstock to the back side of the mat. If not mat, just place your cardstock in as if it were a photo.
Put your frame all back together.
Use your transfer tape to center and align your monogram and then use a credit card or your finger to press down your decal working out any bubbles you might have. Peel your transfer tape away slowly.
BAM! New art!
If you want to “fake” your decal you’ll can print out an anchor in the size you want as well as print out your monogram (I’ve shared how to make your own monogram here) to size. Once you’ve printed out your 2 pieces, cut them out, placing your monogram on top of your anchor, and place them behind your frame glass (and secure it in place with tape). Use a white paint marker to trace your design directly on top of the glass!
Now my little entryway table is complete!

The more cute projects you post using your Silhouette, the more scheming I have to do to convince my husband I need a Silhouette…
I love this project-you can never go wrong with glitter and monograms!

D o you think this would look nice on a bedside table with a glass top? I have one on each side of my bed and want to do something different being it’s just glass. I do like the look you show here but I would not need a letter. Most of my small home is shabby chic with a beach touch. I live on the river and I’m trying to redo with a few new things. Any new ideas I’d greatly appreciate . Thank you so very much. Charlotte
