Our hotel was only a block from the river and directly behind the Tate Museum. Even the scrolls on the top of their fencing was fancy.
We lucked out on a mostly clear night so we took a walk over to the London Eye to get a better aerial view of London.

The London Eye was fascinating. We went towards dusk and there was no queue, bonus!
Coming in for our “landing”.
The setting sun created a gorgeous sky coloring.
We just don’t get these color night falls in Charlotte so I might have snapped a lot of photos.
This might be my favorite of all the photos I captured. It’s totally unedited, that is just how pretty the sky was.
And the very next day we were back to overcast skies, again.
Totally in love with the Tower Bridge’s colors.
And of course, you should always mind the gap while on the tube.
Did you know that the Underground is over 150 years old?
Gorgeous little vintage Vespa parked outside our hotel.
